Sunday at The Chapel

Sunday at The Chapel10:00 – 11:30am

In so many ways, The Chapel is like a large extended family. Every individual matters and every generation is valued.

Sunday Mornings
Our Sunday Gathering has a sort of ‘planned informality’ and reflects our desire for authenticity in worship and relationships.

While the gatherings are planned, that planning allows for, anticipates and hopes for, a significant level of flexibility as people are given the opportunity to participate and the Holy Spirit is invited to lead.

To facilitate a greater sense of connection, on the first Sunday of each month the seating is set-up around tables in more of a Cafe format. You are invited to stay for a shared lunch after the service. Please bring a plate/platter of food to share. Hot food, cold food, finger food, drinks.  As a helpful guideline… if every every person, who could, brought enough for two people, and every family, that could, brought enough for two families… then we would have a generous provision as we welcome guests and others. (In 1 Corinthians 11:17-22, Paul talks about how not to do a shared lunch.) If your dish needs heating, please note this on the clipboard in the kitchen.

Tea and coffee are available after the service every other Sunday.

Communion is celebrated on the 3rd Sunday each month.

Kidspace offers age appropriate programmes for primary and pre-school aged children, each Sunday from 10am-11:30am. read more
