The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.

Psalm 19:1-4

Take some time one night when there are no clouds. Go outside. Sit, or maybe lie down on the grass, and stare up at the sky. Try counting the stars! Try to imagine how many there are. Most of them are larger than our sun. Think of the vast expanse of space and all of the energy and matter it contains. Then take a moment to consider that the One who spoke that into being, out of nothing…

…made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!

Philippians 2:7-8

Then reflect on the truth that He did that for You!
