Confession

Confession

Often, when we think of Confession, our first thought is, “Admitting when I’ve done wrong.” That is certainly an important element of confession.

“Therefore confess your sins to each other
and pray for each other so that you may be healed.”

James 5:16

“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’
and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Romans 10:9

“Therefore whoever confesses me before men,
him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.”

Matthew 10:32

“We demolish arguments and every pretension
that sets itself up against the knowledge of God,
and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

2 Corinthians 10:5

So… as you take time this month to read the Bible, the Word of God… ask yourself: Do my thoughts, the things I think and say about myself, align with what God says about me in His Word?
