In so many ways, The Chapel is like a large extended family. Every individual matters and every generation is valued. This is easily observed in the variety of activities that occur at The Chapel each week and never more so than at our Sunday morning gatherings where we place a high value on participation. Participation is more important than polish and authenticity is more important than attainment as together we journey and grow… individually and collectively, as people and as followers of Jesus.
Sunday Mornings – 10:00 – 11:30am
Tea and Coffee is served every Sunday from 10 to 10:15 am. The services have a sort of ‘planned informality’ and reflect our desire for authenticity in worship and relationships.
To facilitate a greater sense of connection, on the first Sunday of each month the seating is set-up around tables in more of a Cafe format. You are invited to stay for a shared lunch after the service.
Communion is celebrated on the 2nd and 4th Sundays each month.
Kidspace, an age appropriate programme for primary school aged children, operates in the same time frame in the adjacent hall. Also, there is a live video feed of the service into a gated area in the foyer. This is available for those with younger children should you choose to use it. Click here for more information.
